Xavier, following a short stint at Monash University, and an even shorter one at the ANZ bank, commenced his real estate career in 1972.

A couple of years working in property management and as a sales assistant were supplemented by night school in Prahran, where he completed his Real Estate course and fully qualified in 1976, the same year he conducted his first auction. A further six years working in the East Malvern area was followed by a move to the Mornington Peninsula where he was senior auctioneer for the leading rural coastal agency.

Xavier has enjoyed the past 17 years living and working in the inner bayside area, the past 14 in partnership with Rick Feldmann at Maher & Co. He, like Rick, saw the potential for a smaller boutique agency where the principals are hands on working in the field, carrying on the day to day functions of estate agency, which is essentially to provide professional advice and to manage the sales and leasing of most people’s biggest investment- their home or rental property.

We believe our approach makes a big difference to the way people feel. Keeping clients fully informed, remaining flexible and providing an efficient, ethical and cost effective service which results in all parties feeling more than satisfied with the outcome. Don’t complicate something which is fairly straightforward and ensure the process is transparent.

When away from the office, Xavier spends his leisure time playing golf with his friends and pedalling his way around the bayside suburbs to keep fit. The occasional overseas trip usually to play or watch golf has taken him to the home of golf at St Andrews and Carnoustie in Scotland across the pond to Pebble Beach and the revered Augusta National in Georgia, home of the US Masters.
